Mother, Mind, and Mysticism

The moon is the most important planet in Vedic astrology. Also in a person’s birth chart. Also for our bodies and lives. Moon governs the mind – which also means our emotions as they do come from the mind. Changeable, highly sensitive, and truly loving – moon sees nothing as its enemy. To me the energy of the moon is the most mystical one of them all. Maybe Mondays are tough for everyone one way or another. But I have found that wearing this mala, meditating with my favorite mantra in honor of the moon, and simply throughout the day being aware that I am influenced by and I generate this strange (in a good way) energy of the moon makes the day go by a bit easier. In the end, moon teaches me to be motherly and forgiving toward my own self first.
